About NBEW
National Black Estheticians' Week (NBEW®) is an annual observance honoring, celebrating, and advancing Black Estheticians nationwide through recognition, education, and community.
National Black Estheticians’ Week was created to formally recognize the contributions, expertise, and cultural impact of Black Estheticians across the country. The observance provides a dedicated time for education, celebration, reflection, and community-led participation.

Each year, a central theme and a set of optional daily prompts are shared to encourage reflection, storytelling, education, and visibility across the profession. Estheticians are invited to engage with these prompts in ways that feel authentic to them—through social media posts, written reflections, photos, videos, conversations, or other creative expressions.
Estheticians, individuals, brands, schools, and organizations may choose to follow the daily prompts, complete select prompts, or simply acknowledge the week by sharing the NBEW logo, creating their own celebratory materials, or highlighting the observance within their communities.

National Black Estheticians Week (NBEW) is a professional education and community platform dedicated to uplifting Black Estheticians through learning, visibility, and collective growth.
We host immersive educational programming and community conversations led by licensed Estheticians, founders, educators, and industry leaders, creating space for professional development, skin of color education, client care, and business confidence.
Through live broadcasts and archived sessions, NBEW offers real-world insight into treatment protocols, practice building, and the lived experiences that shape our work behind the treatment room door.
NBEW also serves as a growing digital archive of past programming, preserving educational moments, panel discussions, and community-led events from previous observances so Estheticians can continue learning long after each live experience ends.
